I only saw this for the first time last week, although it was created last summer . It’s a must watch, particularly if you are a nail fiend.

This book is amazing or at least from what I’ve seen! It has 232 pages of mind blowing nail art from around the world – from Ming dynasty China to ancient Egypt.
I’m a bit late in the trend with Ombre nails since I didn’t know it was another term for color gradation. Fancy fashion terminology…I am never up to speed. Anyway, here are plenty of examples to get you started for Spring or start thinking about dazzling up your tips.

To get this look, it’s quite simple. Layer on the first polish you want to appear on the inside. You may need two so that the next layer won’t blend or darken over the color. Allow time to dry and taking a darker polish, paint over the first layer.
When I have time, I’ll have to swatch a few colors for Spring. Look forward to it! But for now, get creative with it.
I can’t speak for everyone else, but this season I’m obsessed with copper! My most recent design made me realize how warm it can be with orange hues and it was a total eye catcher among friends and family.
